Etymology
(chu-lah-hah-chi ) From the tzutujil language, "Chu", means "fish" and "laj a chi" that means "man". Doesn't change in plural form.
Anatomy
These animals have the face of male humans with longer fangs and walk on all fours. Back legs and tail are draconian while front body is humanoid but with matching proportions to walk on all four. All of them are hermaphrodites, have shark scales (Microscopic), fish colors and fins. All of them breath air even when babies.
They have webbed fingers and toes.
Back fins can be folded, since they are curved backwards, they twist to a different side in an intermittent way. This is to avoid these to hurt the loin of the creature. They have webbed fingers & toes. Chulajachi has a lifespan of about 30 human years. They can hold breath up to 20 minutes staying still.

Habitat
Live only in salt water, be this by the sea or in lakes. Uncommonly near rivers. Need tropical weather. They are endothermic.
Communication
They use body gestures and sounds to communicate. They have names given by their parents (combination of sounds) but their language is very basic, much less complex than dolphins.
Their facial expressions are almost human, they smile if happy or pleased, frown up and snarl when upset, their eyebrows will go up and eyes will open wide if you surprise them.
Behavior
Is not common to see them in groups, often live alone until they need to reproduce and stay together until the offspring has reached certain independence. They usually are friendly with humans due to their similarities in facial expressions and anatomy, but just as happens with their own species, they may try to eat any other creature that comes close enough.
Hunting and Diet
Chulajachi often hunt animals smaller than them near the shore. Mostly fishes but some have developed a taste for terrestrial animals, even humans! Becoming a threat for certain communities. Often has beign noticed a cannibalistic behavior among them. Be this for pure territorial and survival purposes or entertainment. Leaving in documentarists a doubt about if animals can actually have certain evil within.
Reproduction They get in heat about every three months. They need a mate to reproduce and when pregnant, regularly only one of many eggs gets fertilized and the cub grows inside to a phisiform appearance. The rest of eggs are eaten by the cub or re-absorbed by the parent.
After six months is given birth. They reach adulthood in 10 years, reaching the common appearance of the chulajachi species.
When the cub is born, the parent or parents stay awake during three days, helping the small chu' to keep close to surface, feeding him with fishes and teaching him their names and his own name (combinations of sounds).
Growing and lifespan Lifespan of chulajachi in the wild is about 30 Earth years.
Threats
Since their discovery, the population has rapidly declined due to illegal hunting. Often has being sold as the most exotic pet of the time.
Water pollution is also affecting them, due to their fast way to eat fishes and other animals, plastic inside their bodies can pass to the predator and get stuck in their digestive system. Causing obstruction, lack of hunger and poisoning.
They can't be transformed into vampires. The reasons are still unknown, but the chu' that have being bitten enough by vampires have died in a painful way.

Your license can be revoked if you are found breaking these rules or promoting/creating/supporting in any way or shape pedophilic content.
NOTE: You can see there are many lines intersected, this is on purpose because pieces are separated and CSP has a great feature that allows deleting segments with one stroke, so you don´t have to manually erase until the edges. Plus lets you see anatomy better.
